Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. This Saturday, the first day of December 2007, the theme is RED.

For me the color red symbolizes a lot of things: love, happiness, positivity and Christmas! My photo entries depict Christmas in RED splendor!

  • Those Christmas home decors were photos from last year. We haven’t started decorating yet and the children are already bugging me to, lol! I told them to help me set it up this week :)

  • Ahh, that one. There were several of them hanging from the beams. Lovely pictures, from last year I gather from what you have been saying. I love poinsettias, the bright red ones, though I always wonder why they are so much associated with Christmas.

  • The third, fourth and fifth  photos were from last year. The poinsettias are wonderful. Hootin’ Anni wrote an interesting article about these plants as associated with Christmas. Thanks A  :)

red is definitely the color of the season. though others experiment on other color motifs I still prefer the traditional red and green.

  • I agree with you on the red and green. I do not really dig the new color scheme since I may have to change decorations once these are not hot anymore. Wasted money :D
