I like how the shots take us on the round trip. The last one is very festive. I hope you have a great week.

  • Thanks, Carver. The last one are Christmas lights sold along road side stores. :)

What a nice adventure. The display at the bottom sure does contrast with the serene view at the top!

God bless.

  • We always do this when we go to my parents home, can’t stay overnight, no one to mind the house. Thanks, Sandy :)

Those are some awesome lights! So festive. I’m excited for Christmas…only a month away…yay!

I just posted my first weekend snapshot!

  • These are just some of those “simple” lights, Natalie. Wasn’t able to get photos of those Christmas lanterns with many colors. Thanks :)

Hi Julie, very nice pics…I wonder how you can still take some time out from your busy schedules. Me, I haven’t done a nice post since I’m so busy with the new business venture….I really missed my blogger-friends like you and blog hopping as well. I expect to see you when the shop opens up (soon, I hope).TC.

  • Wenchie, we got the kids na. We still hope to go back before Christmas if the sked permits but if not, during my school’s Grand Alumni Homecoming na lang after Christmas.  Thanks :)

Hope you had a lovely trip to Zambales. Last time I’ve been there, I was still in grade school.

I love seeing bright and colorful parols lighted at night.

BTW, I have an award for you.

  • We did have a nice trip. Budget was compromised when we dropped by Subic, :D The lights are nice, Rachel, I just hope these are safe to use.  Thanks.

Great photos Julie! I wish my husband would stop the car for me too, when we go on road trips. He hates stopping so I have to take the photos with the car moving, a recipe for photo disasters. :)

  • Oh he does stop when I ask him, depending on the place if its ok to do so. Thanks, Megamom :)

Zambales, cradle of my guy, RM. But how can you remember? Who is from there? It is quite a long way by bus, huh.

I love your photos. Reminds me hindi na paaawat si Christmas. Ay naku.

  • You’re right, I don’t remember but I think their families are related with that of my great grandparents. We are from there, my parents and only sibling live there. Thanks AM :)

Hi Teacher Julie,
I had to convert it to 248.5 miles. So if you were traveling at 55/mph, you reached your destination after 4.5 hours or longer depending on traffic. Did you go on round trip?

I like the parols! :)
