Christmas is just a few weeks away. Have you thought of a great gift already? Usually, people give gifts based upon the “needs” of the person who will receive the gifts. We have been looking at several gift items available in the market to give to out love ones. A few years ago, my husband and I saw an item that really caught our attention. But since this was a new technology then and very expensive, we just had to contend ourselves thinking about it. What is this item? It is a digital photo frame. Digital picture frames, in my opinion, are great gift items. In the advent of digital cameras where we don’t use films anymore and we have our own photo printer to print our photos, this is one exciting alternative to view our photos. How? Since one doesn’t need to print the photos for viewing, having a digital photo frame shows photos and short movie clips that you have. It can also show DIVX, XVID and even MP3, because it has sounds. And the good thing is, these photos and movie clips can be viewed even without using your PC because you will use your memory card to run all these files. You can even set the interval on how the photos will display. Wonderful, isn’t it?

I’ve seen this in a photo shop and I thought its some sort of a special effect thing for their show room. Cool idea for a gift, I think I’ll blog on this for my friends to know what’s hot for ” Christmas giving/sharing”(lol)…

  • This is nice, Lovelyn. First time we saw this is Greenhills, it was something like PhP35,000. Now one can buy these digital photo frames for PhP3,000.

Thanks for sharing this great idea, TJ.

  • AM, this used to be PhP35,000 or something like that in Greenhills when we first saw it 2-3 years ago. Now one can get this PhP3,000 from those cd  stores mushrooming the local malls. Not sure about its quality though but this would still be a great gift idea.
