Every Saturday, participants post photos based on a theme. The theme for this Saturday, November 24, 2007 is HOT.

I am running out of ideas today so I just thought I would just post

WHAT TO DO WHEN THE WEATHER IS HOT:

Chill out at the mall. This mall, called TriNoMa is one of the hottest malls in Mega Manila. I have written articles about the mall here, here and here. Yes, it is one of our favorite places to go to.

Go to the beach where the air is cool (Not sure who took this Bohol beach photo but it was in our files. To see how the beach looks like in different angles, click here and here).

Wear flip-flops to be comfortable.

Sit under the shade of the trees.

Drink ice-cold drinks. My daughter Trixie took this photo.


When all else fails, go for a swim:

Will try to visit as soon as possible. In the meantime, please include in your prayers our country that will be battered/is being battered already by a super typhoon that is expected to make a landfall Saturday-Sunday-Monday, Philippine time (+8:00 GMT)

Update: Typhoon has weakened, hope it will still continue to do so. Typhoon  moving at 11kph, tsk, tsk. Unbelievable.

Great choices! Cooling at the mall is also a habit of ours. :) I miss the beach.

I love those colorful flip flops. I love wearing them rather than those closed and uncomfortable shoes.

The last photo made me smile.
