After a tiring morning and mid-afternoon spent at the (please read the post, thanks) Motorcycle Philippines Federation Grand Eyeball 2007, we (hubby, Trixie and I) decided to go to Market! Market! at the Bonifacio Global City or The Fort.

We first went to Market! Market! because hubby has to buy something there. When we got to the mall, we were delighted to see these lovely Christmas decor hanging from the ceiling of the mall. Trixie even said that it baffles her how these decors were hung.

What a pleasant surprise to be able to see bits of the live Seussical Christmas Special, The Cat in the Hat. The young cast have very strong vocal prowess. They can also dance well. We will definitely wait for this show on Dec 1 or 2 at the TriNoMa Mall which is near where we live.

If you prefer urban living with chic shops and gourmet restaurants at your doorstep, Serendra is the right home for you. And no, this is not a paid advert. We would probably enjoy living here but then when we do, we should be ready to be able to have cash that will sustain this kind of lifestyle. Not for now, definitely. In the future? Maybe, who knows? But then we have some doubts about living in this high-profile places so I would reserve my judgment and reasons for now.

The day is almost over for us and it is time to go home. Tomorrow is going to be very special for our family and most specially for our daughter Trixie. Why? Hope you come back tomorrow to know what this is all about. Thank you.
Have a great week everyone! :)

Have a great evening po!

  • We had a great time, yes. When we go out, we really go out since the gas is expensive, this is a more practical way to travel. No, it was not her birthday, it was her confirmation. Thanks Yen :)

One thing I love about Serendra is their very fast WIFI connection. :)

  • Really, so there is WIFI connectivity just about anywhere? Or, where can this be used? Thanks, Lynn.

Looks like a fun place to go, especially since you got to see the performers. The decorations and the live tree are all very appealing. I hope you have a great week. I’m intrigued by what will happen tomorrow and will check back. Take care, Carver

  • It is a fun place Carver. The buildings behind the tree are residential areas. Very chic and not to mention, very expensive :D

Sounds like a lovely outing. What a nice opportunity to see part of the Seuss show. Great pictures. Thanks for this WS.

  • Sandy, when we go places, we make it a point to go to several places in one trip. The way the gasoline prices are going up every few weeks, sometimes every week, we think this is better since we can save on gas. We will try to catch the Seuss show in a mall near our place. Thanks :)

So that is Serendra! Is it truly a beautiful place? I have heard so much about it from a friend. Have a nice day!

  • It is beautiful, chic is more like it, with expensive shops right at your doorsteps. Try going there one time, on a weekday to avoid the crowds. Thanks, Xixi :)

Hi Teacher Julie! I was there at Market Market last night. Did you get to see the fireworks display? :)

  • Jonie, late reply. We didn’t stay for long, had to go home early, as we always do since there’s no one home.  Didn’t see the fireworks, sayang!

It looks like your Mall is very entertaining! Very colorful photos! :-)

Have a great week!

  • It is entertaining, yes. We seldom go here since it is a little far but we go to the other mall which is also under the same corporation, which is nearer where we live. I will be featuring that in my Photo Hunt (hot) theme. Thanks, Isabelle :)

  • Liza, you know naman, candles for All Souls day are displayed with Christmas decorations, hehehe. It is all  Christmas-y at the malls but sadly, houses are not yet that lighted up, except for a few. Times are difficult nowadays, Liza.

  • I am not sure if its free, Chateau. But the Trinoma schedule is December 1 and 2 with two or three shows per day, something like 10am, 1pm and 3pm, not sure though. Kita kits? I plan to have my Saturday students come on Friday since its a holiday so that we can go on a Saturday am show.

Hi Julie. Please pardon my late visit.

I love the festive photos you shared. Christmas is truly in the air. Oh my, that reminds me, I better start with my Christmas shopping soon. :)

I love Cat in the Hat. Hope there’s a show like that one at ATC. I haven’t checked their program line up yet.

  • I think they have a show at the ATC. Will try to look for the newspaper we got last Saturday where the schedules are printed. Btw, if you are planning to watch The Golden Compass…I will be making a post about it soon. Thanks for the visits, Rach :)
