San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish 5:15-6:15pm Mass

img_7655b.jpg

Garden dedicated to the Unborn Children, at the entrance of the San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish.

We usually attend the Saturday Anticipated Mass. Yesterday we went to the Sunday  5:15 Holy Mass. The sky got dark faster now which is a sign of the coming of colder months and Christmas season.

Those are both interesting photographs. I like the way the light from the lamp posts reflect off the palms in the second photo. I’m assuming that those are palm fronds the light is catching. Very nice image.

  • Yes, palm fronds. My children used to play here during Mass but they had gates installed. Thanks, Carver :)

Good subjects night shots are tricky

  • Had to put my arms/elbows on the steel gates  to steady them since my tripod is busted. Thanks, Marcia :)

That garden must be a solemn reminder of those unborn children.

  • It is. Used to be a “playground” but they installed a gate to preserve the place. Thanks, Rach :)

You’re really getting quite savvy with the cam, TJ!

[...] Going anywhere on weekends before Christmas is difficult. There is traffic, traffic and more traffic. Traffic on the road is terrible in this side of the world where we live. So we decided to be home buddies again this weekend. We all had different things to do but had to leave the house around 5pm. We heard the mass here at 5:15pm and had dinner at Ninang’s Pancit Malabon Restaurant where home-cooked meals are served at affordable prices. [...]
