We are always besieged with choices, every day of our living existence. From the moment we wake up until the time we call it a day, we decide on a lot of things. What food to eat, what clothes to wear, and a host of myriad things to decide on.

We even decide how to decide.

Do we decide to be happy or do we wallow in self-pity and swim in despair over things that make us unhappy, whether real or imagined?

How do we decide to face and conquer our fears?

But is there ever an end to this process? Would we still be living the life we want to if we don’t have the capacity to make decisions?

We may search far and wide for the choices that we think are right.

When we reach the end of the road and are confronted with the questions we have been searching answers for, are we ready to make our decisions? Are you?

Making abrupt decisions don’t normally work. We need to pause, process and pray. If the gut feeling is right then the decision you made is right too.

  • Yes, I believe that the best decisions are those made with careful introspection. Thanks, Mayi :)

Beautiful photos Teacher Julie. You have been in a deciding mood lately ah. It’s easier if your write down the pros and cons.

  • Thanks for the idea Tina. I have yet to do that. Things are just so complicated I tend to get lost in the situation.

So true, teacher Julie. It is better to always think things through and avoid making irrational decisions. Mahirap na.

Happy Monday po! May you be able to reach an informed and blessed decision soon :)

  • I have been mulling over and praying for this for years! But I still haven’t convinced myself that it is the right path I am taking. Thanks, Sasha.

If the end of the road always ended in the beach it would be a great place to land:>

  • Ah! So true! Thanks for making me smile! :) We would never know what is at the end of the road if we don’t take the journey.

Hi Julie,
For some reason I’ve been having problems accessing your site. Anyways, you are so right. Making decisions faces us everyday and it is, in my opinion, the hardest part of being human. I wish you the best in making the right decision and will be praying for you.

  • I had bandwidth problems last week. Plus, I think, my blog doesn’t upload well in IE, if that’s what you are using. Thanks for the prayers, Mary, I know you have an idea about what I am thinking about. I really appreciate your well wishes. :)

[...] To Marcia, would you like to spend a day at this beach? This is not where that road ends but these places are near each other. [...]
