The following photos are for the PinoyMomsNetwork Fam Pics theme POTTED or anything in a pot.

I love plants. I love flowers. But I can’t seem to grow these. So I just take photos whenever I have opportunities. Below are some of the potted plants photos that I have in my collection:

Plant with an orange flower:

img_4267b.jpg

To say that I had a difficult time taking that photo at that angle is an understatement. I had to get dirty on the ground to be able to take a photo. Is it worth it? It is!

Purple-pink flower:

img_4391b.jpg

These are being peddled by “manangs”. I can’t recall what these are called and how these are supposed to be grown but the texture of the petals are like silk, don’t you think?

Yellow Bell:

img_6021b.jpg

These plants are commonly used to adorn fences and even gates.Just lovely, but don’t forget to trim as these plants could grow all over.

Pink Calachuchi Buds:

img_5900c.jpg

Aren’t these pink buds delicate and lovely? Up close, these buds are hairy.

Thorns on a euphorbia plant:

Plants need to protect themselves from harm. One of their defenses is to have thorns.

All the pics are beautiful but I love the yellow flower the best. I’m partial with yellow. :) Mine’s up too (ala-Photo Hunters, hehe).

Have a good week ahead, Julie!

  • The yellow flower looks refreshing but these plants can grow too much. Thanks, Lynn :)

Such beautiful flowers and what a photographer you are, Julie. Aba, pang professional na ah. Those will look very nice on posters I won’t mind hanging on my walls! BTW, how do you watermark (is that the term?) your pics? Low tech kasi ako eh.

  • Aw, shucks, Tita Princess, I’m so flattered :) Emailed the details already.

My potted flowers are just orchids for now. I feel sad when they aren’t in bloom so I keep buying. I should know how to make orchids bloom.

  • Used to have orchids in bloom but these all died, :( Hay, can’t grow them.
