I came in late. I looked for familiar faces. There are a lot of familiar faces but because sometimes it is hard to distinguish the real names from the blog’s names, it was really a little difficult to recognize or even put together these two. Especially in a room full of hundreds of people. I came in with my Ate, fresh from her field trip in Maragondon, Cavite. Where did I go last night? Why to SMHypermarket’s Taste Asia Blogger Food Fest part 2.
First I saw was Dine with Alan Jr., being “mobbed” by bloggers. I was able to talk with several blogger near the entrance before I went to find my friends. I apologize for not remembering your names.
Since Wenchie replied to my sms that they were on the left side of the venue, to the left side I went. Because the first Taste Asia Blogger Food Fest had two chocolate fountains on the left side of the room, I thought there is another table for that too. Too bad, there wasn’t. But anyway, what I found was sweeter than chocolate: my momblogger friends:
Cookie aka Kongkong622, Chateau aka i-mom, me, Myrna aka Annamanila, Rowena and Dine.
Here is another one with Noemi at the left side and Wenchie’s sister Rhodora who I believe would be starting her own blog soon.
Annamanila and the children, AlanJr. and my daughter. Why do I feel my eyes burning by looking at this photo, Annamanila? No, it is not from lack of sleep.
This is my share of the food from the banquet table pictured below. The chicken wrapped in pandan leaves and the baked mussels were okay but we didn’t get sweet-chili sauce for the tempura.
Congratulations Annamanila for winning in the SMHypermarket raffle, I know you are going to win an award for that wonderful shabu-shabu piece that you wrote.
To wrap it up, I want to say that the food was good but the company was even better. Till the next big bloggers event!
