I came in late. I looked for familiar faces. There are a lot of familiar faces but because sometimes it is hard to distinguish the real names from the blog’s names, it was really a little difficult to recognize or even put together these two. Especially in a room full of hundreds of people. I came in with my Ate, fresh from her field trip in Maragondon, Cavite. Where did I go last night? Why to SMHypermarket‘s Taste Asia Blogger Food Fest part 2.

First I saw was Dine with Alan Jr., being “mobbed” by bloggers. I was able to talk with several blogger near the entrance before I went to find my friends. I apologize for not remembering your names.

Since Wenchie replied to my sms that they were on the left side of the venue, to the left side I went. Because the first Taste Asia Blogger Food Fest had two chocolate fountains on the left side of the room, I thought there is another table for that too. Too bad, there wasn’t. But anyway, what I found was sweeter than chocolate: my momblogger friends:

mombloggers1

Cookie aka Kongkong622, Chateau aka i-mom, me, Myrna aka Annamanila, Rowena and Dine.

mombloggers2

Here is another one with Noemi at the left side and Wenchie’s sister Rhodora who I believe would be starting her own blog soon.

mrc

Annamanila and the children, AlanJr. and my daughter. Why do I feel my eyes burning by looking at this photo, Annamanila? No, it is not from lack of sleep.

This is my share of the food from the banquet table pictured below. The chicken wrapped in pandan leaves and the baked mussels were okay but we didn’t get sweet-chili sauce for the tempura.

Congratulations Annamanila for winning in the SMHypermarket raffle, I know you are going to win an award for that wonderful shabu-shabu piece that you wrote.

To wrap it up, I want to say that the food was good but the company was even better. Till the next big bloggers event!

you all look great in the picture.

  • The pandan scent/flavor was not really strong, just aromatic so it was quite good. Wish we can have our own PMN bash too. πŸ™‚

I enjoyed chatting with you.. And i agree with Cookie: let’s do a QC chapter EB!

  • I would have loved to taste it but since it was a little dark, I might get to eat the fats part which is a no-no for my health. Yeah, we should. Dapat! πŸ˜€ Sasama na ako sa mga forays ninyo nila AM, Dine, Cookie, πŸ™‚

Hi Teacher Julie!

I was just mom blog searching when I got to your site, viewed photos from your blogger foodfest and saw your familiar face. What! you already have a 13-year old daughter! You were fresh from college (I guess) when we met and my daughter Aleli was your pupil in Grade 1 at SHS. How time really flies. She’s in 3rd-4th year college now.

Nice to have landed on your site. You have an interesting blog. I will visit again soon.

  • I remember Aleli, but she was in Kinder or Prep (SY 94-95) when I taught her. Oh my! The year got even further! I also saw her blog once and sent a comment but was not able to follow through. I was not really fresh from college when I taught at SHS then because I was already 25 years old, just looking young lang po, joke! πŸ™‚ Thanks for visiting! Take care!
