Warning to those who haven’t read the book yet: Some spoilers in the post.
I have just finished the book just a while ago and couldn’t wait to blog about it. Overall the book is wonderful, action-packed. The story made me cry (yeah, poor Dobby, Fred, Lupin and Tonks). The story made me laugh. The story made me admire Severus Snape. The story made me doubt Albus Dumbledore. The story made me feel angry toward Voldemort and his Death Eathers. The story made me admire Ron, Hermoine and the rest of Dumbledore’s Army. They all showed bravery, loyalty and trust even if they do not know the details of everything they are fighting for. I was skeptical how Harry would be able to make it on his own, how he would defeat the dark magic working against him. But he did and in the end, the quest for answers for questions raised in earlier series were answered.
But not all questions were answered, though a lot of secrets were revealed. Some memories about the young Petunia and Lily were presented but still, some questioned remained unanswered about Tuney and Dudley. The revolution all happening inside Hogwarts while Harry, Ron and Hermoine were looking for the Horcruxes was not included in the story. The Epilogue raised a few questions too. What have been Harry and Ginny been doing? As well as Ron and Hermoine, who both ended as couples? What about the other DA members? George after Fred’s death? The baby Teddy Tonks? The Weasleys? The whole wizarding community? The Muggles?
Ahh…maybe it is all up to our imagination to conjure up what might have happen to them.
