Shelved under My Thoughts, Snapshots

Rainy days are here again. Coupled with the rains are diseases, sometimes easy to deal with like runny nose or cough or sometimes deadly like dengue fever from mosquito bites or diarrhea from drinking dirty, contaminated water. Even if it is hard to tolerate the heat during summers, I don’t particularly like spending rainy days due to the above-mentioned reason. Plus our front yard looks like a jungle mess during this season. Weeds are sprouting here and there due to the abundance of water. This means shelling out to pay Manang Salve to trim the grass, cut the shrubs and get the fallen leaves around the house. I admit I do not like doing those kind of work. I can’t even grow flowering plants if only to survive. This reminds me, still have to contact her for this job. So to brighten up this post, I will just put up this wonderful photo that I took when the rains started to coming.
