This is an updated post.

After I registered, I went inside the venue looking for my friend Dine, who was with her young son, Alan Jr. Then I saw Noemi too. I was at a table with Ganns and his former school mate Francis and his wife Ria who by the way lives in the building where I teach! I got a chance to talk with Ana Leah who is on her third trimester. I also sat near Janette and Aileen during the raffle draw. I briefly met Jun and Geri.
I was also able to talk with a lovely couple, Fire Lady 1 and 2. Ok, Fire Lady 2 is a guy, :D Sorry Anna, didn’t have the time to look for your URI yesterday as I did the post very early. As it was, my student was there at my MIL’s house when I got there!

What a blast! It was food galore!

Everybody gone ga-ga over this heavenly chocolate fondue. I had my fruits dipped in dark chocolate.

And who wouldn’t enjoy the food with good company?

Okay, I admit, I do not really like the color orange. But I have to bear with it because the venue has orange walls.

There were also SM Hypermarket people as well as other sponsors.
Thanks SM Hypermarket and Taste Asia for accommodating us. Thanks too to the very warm reception of the people from this company who I happened to talk with.

[...] I was able to attend another most awaited blogger meetup in the Philippines. I really don’t have any idea what it was all about. I just wanted to attend and meet other bloggers and that’s all. In fact, I did not eat dinner. Just some light food, 3 cans of Sprite Ice, half bottle Iced Tea (with menthol?). And I met a lot of new bloggers and of course the old ones were also there. The first blogger I met there was Jerico. He is young and has been blogging for more than 2 years now. I also met a new officemate, Jomar, who my wife recognized because they have been classmates on one of the trainings they attended. Yuga was also there, thanks for the tips and the little chit chat. I was also able to greet Gail, Karla, Noemi, Lauren, Jayvee, Jun, Juned, Janet, Poell, and many others. There’s also the DJ Magician Marcell Fabie. And my most expected blogger to meet SexyMom and J Angelo. Special thanks to Teacher Julie and Ganns Deen for being such nice companies during the event. [...]

  • It was nice seeing your family too. Saw Angelo and his wife briefly, didn’t bring my eyeglasses so things were a bit blurry to me, :) Sure, I do hope I can go on Saturday because I have students till 5pm. Thanks, Dine.

This woman rocks my socks! Thanks for hanging out with us last night.

Rowena: The food was pretty good. The best item in the house, though, was Choco Loco, cream puffs soaked in milk or dark chocolate fondue. TO DIE FOR.

  • Thanks for the great company, Ganns.  And thanks for introducing your friend Anna. Yummy Choco Loco.

Hi Julie. Glad you had a wonderful time meeting old and new blog friends.

  • Yes, Rachel I was glad I did, even if it meant my daughter got miffed. We got home around 11pm because traffic was heavy along EDSA. She said she hopes she can wake up early because she only has six hours to sleep. She sleeps at 8pm btw, :D

[...] The Top 5 Reasons Why Taste Asia rocked, right after the jump. 5. I renewed my ties with the Pinoy bloggerati. Made new acquaintances, the bloggers behind PinoyBlogero, Byahilo, and a bunch of others whose blogs I will link to once I review the calling cards. Hahaha. I also spent some great time with Aldrin and Leah. Was starstruck again, thanks to meeting SexyMom (I actually called her Tita Dine; feeling close!), fellow Philippine Idol fan and best Mom ever Tita Noemi, Teacher Julie (she’s so down-to-earth!), Yuga (who didn’t recognize me, I think, so what, I got a picture!) and Dr. Tess, who had the most amazing hair. Saw old blogger acquaintances Shari, Jun, and Riz.  Turns out Rick was there, but I didn’t see him and he claims to have seen me but didn’t talk to me because I was talking to pretty girls.
