Shelved under On the Road, Snapshots

I have posted some photos about TriNoma in this entry a few weeks back. When we went there last Saturday, it was still under construction since many shops are still not open. Now, why would we want to go back again? Because Ate needs to get a headset for school use (they were required to bring one for hygienic purposes) so we decided to go there after dropping my mother, my aunt and Bunso at a bus station. They will go back to the province after the burial of my grandaunt (or grandmother). Mother decided to bring Bunso to her house after she got sick so she can “fatten” her for a month or so. We are going to miss our baby girl in the house. Sigh.

Here are a few photos that we took in TriNoma but this time we concentrated on the gardens and the water formations. Here are some of them:

trinoma1

The view of Mindanao Avenue corner North Avenue from inside TriNoMa.

trinoma2

From where we were standing looking at the streets outside, the other view was this. This looks like a garden has grown inside a concrete structure. Very refreshing.

trinoma3

This again is on the wing where one can see the streets outside. Those open spaces in the background are like view decks where one can see the inside of the mall as well as the streets outside.

trinoma4

This water structure is from another part of the mall, I think the opposite side of the other photos above. We still have to “master” the routes inside the mall because we have been there twice. Maybe that will take a long time since we are not really mall-goers. This is not a paid ad by Ayala. I just wanted to share some photos.

By the way, they have this:

trinoma5

The children did not to ask us to get anything. They know when they can ask and when not to. It’s called discipline. ;)

it seems like Trinoma is now a-buzz with life, compared to how it was a few weeks back. one of these days, i am going back, and have a lazy dinner at dencio’s with the kids.

  • Better go on a weekday. Dencio’s was full as of 5pm last Saturday. Hope to see you there. Oh wait, hope to see you on Tuesday, :)

hi julie,

wow, buti ka pa me time to go malling. i haven’t been there. ill ask hubby to go there this saturday. sana ma-meet na rin kita in person. and i admire your kids’ discipline ha. ako, pag nadaan sa toy store, kelangan me bibilin si pio (kahit daw P50 lang, he he). si mommy sunod naman…

  • Paminsan-minsan lang because we have a mini-mall nearby where we often go (2x/week) and we are okay with that na even if we don’t get anything (look lang, no buy) to buy. I always tell my DD1 Trixie, even if a store sells everything at Php10 or Php20 (usually in bazaars), you don’t have to buy things there because its cheap. You just buy things when you truly need these, not because these are affordable. Works well so far.

Oh it looks gorgeous! I used to live near Mindanao Avenue, buti may mall na ganyan in the area!

  • That area used to be the MRT depot which they converted into a Php3.5 Billion project. Though traffic can be a real pain in the neck during evening rush hour and weekends. Even the nearby SM North had to put down the Annex building to construct a newer building. Puro malls, seems like people have so much money to spare. We live at about the end of Mindave too, :)

open more shops na lang, para hindi masyadong malungkot tingnan sa higher floors. at saka, parang walang grocery no?

  • They still have to construct the Landmark. Re the shops, hope these would be patronized. Like those at The Block, shops sell expensive goods (for those with a limited budget like me though) and looks like they don’t have decent sales, these are also going to be opened in TriNoma, siyempre Ayala Mall that’s why.

Very nice! I haven’t been there yet. Malayo kasi sa amin but we’ll check it out when we are in the area.

  • It looks like the mall in Makati. Trendy shops and very nice interior because the design doesn’t feel like you are bumping into each and every one inside like he rectangular shape of SM. The gardens, water formations and several al fresco dining makes it a plus too.

So what better way to enjoy the greenery but to put these inside concrete structures?
