Shelved under Information

As I have written in a previous post, I have insecurities about my nose. As if that is the end of my worries regarding my physical self. I do have some issues too regarding the unwanted (very much so) fat of my tummy. Blame it on drinking lots of sweetened drinks, eating a lot of delicious food and sitting for a long time whenever I am teaching my students and blog hopping at night when the kids are asleep. My waist size has grown from size 5/6 when I was still single up to size **. Hmm…would I consider having liposuction? I do not know if I would qualify for a gastric bypass surgery. If not, may be a New York Tummy Tuck? Why? So that I can feel more confident when I get to meet people. So that I don’t feel embarrassed whenever I have to buy my clothes. And so that I can see my feet when I am standing against a wall! :D

Maybe in the near future, I would. As for now, maybe I got to start walking to shed off the excess pounds and hope I won’t be too thirsty or too hungry after the walk. *Groans*

I too struggle with my expanding waist line.. and the older I get.. the harder the battle. :-)

Just recently I got a second dog that is requiring a lot of exercise.. way more walking now than what I was doing previously. Would you believe I have lost 8 lbs in the 3 months I have had her. She is my newest weight loss strategy. :-)

  • A nice way to shed off those pounds! You both get to exercise and stay healthy at the same time. :)

  • My DD1 who is 11 now wears my old shorts. How old? I had them back when I was still in high school! In no time she will be wearing my pants before I had her. :D

hi teacher julie,

have the same problem. when i gave birth to my eldest child, i gained extra only in my tummy. enrolled at mf. they have the machine that works like an electric massage (for the arms, tummy and legs). after that, they wrapped me in a very cold cloth (parang katsa) which smells like menthol. the cloth actually came from the freezer. it helps loosen and melt the fats. after that, i would use the bathroom often. the fats turned to liquid and pass out as urine. in a month, i lost my big tummy. but got pregnant again (kasi naging sexy na uli, lol)….you can try it at home though (the procedure, i mean)..btw, can you put me in your blog roll (yes, ive tried to be a “blogger”)?

T.Julie, my lovehandles i can live with, as long as i don’t see my jeans which is getting a tad tighter. LOL! kaso, i was still a kid, and my pictures already shows me having bulges. so, it wasn’t just because of childbearing =P

people often think i am pregnant, coz i have a skinny upper body, tapos big middle. nyeh! weird tignan. hahaha

  • Ay! I can relate to that. Sometime people would comment if I am pregnant and I just answer, “Hindi po. Bilbil yan!” Hahaha.
