Summertime (Level B Phonics Minibooks Decodable Book 6), by Marilyn Jager Adams, was the story we read a few weeks ago. We, meaning I and Teacher Joy, an occupational therapist, along with several speech and language pathology interns. This book was read to the children in the Camp Teepee Narrative/Storytelling Group held every Wednesdays during this summer. Along with relating experiences similar to the activities the children in the story wanted to do, we also did sequencing of events. Here is a sample of one of the activities we did:
