The fire seems so close and I'm glad that it was put out before it got worse. I also hope no one got hurt in that fire. <ul> <li>It was close,just at the other side of the street where we live. Shanties have mushroomed because is a river there. At the start of this year there was another fire at the next subdivision but that one was bigger, with burning things brought by the wind coming to where we live. I thought during this second fire, "Oh my, this second fire is getting nearer to where we are."  :(</li> </ul> Oh my, that must have been such a terrifying sight. We live in a condo in a townhouse. In the summer of 2002, the condos upstairs were on fire. Eeeeek! Scared the crap out of me!! Though we had no fire damage, we were out of our place for two months because of the water damage. <ul> <li>Teena, we sometimes think about living in a building but one of the concerns is about fires and also earthquake. Then she added how come she wasn't allowed to look outside? I asked her why and she said, "Gusto ko makita ano tsura ng firemen eh."
