I went to the iBlog3 Summit held at the UP School of Economics Auditorium last Friday (April 13) and Saturday(April14). I met Noemi and Dine there. I also got to listen to Lauren talk about personal blogging which I enjoyed because she was witty. We got a dose of several topics about blogging from several experts.

On the first day, I was with my friend Jaz, who is the mom of a long-time student. She wants to start her own photoblog so she was interested.

On the second day, I was with my 5yo son, Julian. Amazing how Julian was able to sit through the summit from 11:30 am until 5pm, playing with text twist, texting his father or simply listening to his favorite tracks. But before 4pm, he was starting to hem and haw about going to the shopping center to eat his favorite tapsilog at Rodic’s. He did get the food, after the summit, around 5:30pm. I think he was amused to see us wearing the same clothes at the closing of the summit because we were given shirts which we wore for the picture-taking. Too bad, camera’s battery was low, wasn’t able to have pictures taken.

Des, yup, they gave the shirts, during the last talk by Gail. Though I missed the first series of the talks in the a.m., was able to listen to most afterwards. The topics were more serious than Friday’s. Sayang nga you weren’t there. Anyway, baka me podcasts, :)

Noemi, he did enjoy it, though he was busy with the stuff he was doing, every time a talk ends and the people are clapping, he immediately drops everything and claps enthusiastically. I didn’t have doubts when I brought him there coz I know he will be able to sustain his sitting span throughout the summit. Yey! He did get his reward in the end, his favorite tapsilog, :D

Hi Julie. Thanks for visiting my photo hunt. Sorry for my late visit. I’ve been very busy this past weekend. I haven’t updated my blog yet. I’ll make a few visits and post about the wedding we attended a little later.

How nice that you were able to attend the IBLOG3 and met Noemi and Dine. I’m sure you had fun at the event.

You’re so lucky to have a well behaved son.

Take care and have a lovely week ahead.

It must have been wonderful to attend an event like that – sana may podcast! :) I would love to learn ways on how to improve my blogging.

I used to frequent Rodic’s too, during my college days. Tapsilog and Jumbosilog were my favorite. :)

Feng, I did get to manage at least two or three photos of Julian before the battery ran out of juice. He did pretty much behave well. I knew he would that’s why I didn’t have second thoughts about bringing him there. :)

Rachel, thought you already have the wedding photos, as of Sunday evening, none yet. I want to see how Yohan looked like and you telling how it went. Will check your site in a while.

I plan to join photo hunter too but I still haven’t found the time to tinker with the technicalities, but will do before the next theme, I hope. Kinda busy with my sumer classes, I’m handling groups this time so its a little toxic.

Have a nice week too! :)

Kathy, you know my son really loves the tapsilog. When we attended the 5pm Sunday mass at the Holy Sacrifice, he again wanted to eat tapsilog! But we said we have food at home so no need to buy again. :D

I think Lauren’s talk has a podcast, do check it out at Noemi’s site. I think they will have eventually because one of the minor sponsors do podcasting. I think he came all the way from Pangasinan for the summit.

Gibo, I will be visiting your blog in a while. You said your 4yo son has autism, do you already have a developmental pediatrician or therapists? I arrived at the summit around 11:00 am. I was the one with the yellow-shirted little boy. :)

Thank you for visiting my blog and learning something from it. That was the main reason why I decided to put this up, to reach out to people/parents with children having special needs, as well as help others be aware that these children exist and yes, there are ways to help them.

Omg, you were there too! I should have joined too — except for an ill-timed meeting. Istorbo talaga. Could have met you. :)

Julian is learning blogging tips this early? Oh wow — sabi nga all things we need to learn we learn in kindergarten.

Hi Julie. Yes, I remember you and your son. Cute kid. :D

Haven’t really introduced myself, but hello, anyway. Nice to have “met” you. :D

Annamanila, Julian and Trixie, my eldest, have their own Yahoo email addresses. Julian even has his avatar. Daughter has a friendster account but I am not encouraging her with that. The youngest shouldn’t be far behind. Julian is quite a techie at a young age. If we just let him be, he will be spending hours until midnight in front of a computer, playing adult car-racing games or using Google. He even knows how to use Google to search for cars that he like. ;)

Sayang (tsk, tsk!), we could have met. Next time, anyway, we are in the UP area often. Just last Sunday we heard 5pm Mass there.

Hi Julie. Thank you for making time to join us at iBlog3. Your site is a great resource. If you know of blogger’s who specialize on topics like Angelman’s syndrome, kindly keep me in mind. Thanks again and hope to see you again next year.
